What does this mean for Manukau?

 

Manukau City is heavily dependent on fossil fuels (oil, gas and coal). As the graphs shows, more than three quarters of our direct energy use is in fuel for transport (although these figures includes the aviation fuel consumed by Auckland International Airport!)
