The key shifts required to achieve this are:

Create prosperity based on sustainable practices > e.g. R&D, markets, rural sector etc
Put people at the centre of thinking and action > e.g. education, equity etc
Build a carbon neutral future > e.g. economic implications of oil shortages etc
Value to ao Maori > e.g. knowledge, skills, assets, culture etc and
Think in generations, not years > e.g. reliable, resilient energy, transport, infrastructure
